I'm here!

Hello! My name is Skye Maxine Wyatt. I was born Tuesday, June 12th at 7:59 pm. I weighed in bigger than my big brother Rogan at 8lbs. 15 oz. He beat me on height though. I am 21 inches long and he was 22 inches.

My original due date was Friday, June 8th, but I decided to wait until daddy was in the middle of teaching to be born. Mom called him at noon on Tuesday to say she had been having contractions every 10-12 minutes for an hour. After talking to dad she took a shower and called the hospital. The nurse said to wait until they are 5 minutes apart. Oh, side note, the day before mom was dilated to 2cm, whatever that means. By the time mom got back downstairs to lie down it was 12:45, at which point she began to have contractions every 5 minutes for 20 minutes. She called dad to get home and they were at the hospital by 1:20. Mom was at 4cm. by then and ready to get that epidural thing, but she had to wait to get an ivy and "fluids." She wasn't too happy. I would say she had to wait an hour to an hour and half, but she would swear it was 5. :-) At about 3:00 she got her epidural and then just waited for me to make my appearance.
We only stayed in the hospital 23 hours. Mom was anxious to get home to my brother and be out of there even though her stay was better this time around. I was a great baby the first night in the hospital and slept a lot so mom and dad could too. Our first night home I had 4 bad hours and 4 good hours. Last night I did great so mom feels a little more rested today. I will make sure to fix that some how. :-)
Well, I just wanted to introduce myself. Most people say I look like my mommy, but it is hard to tell right now. I don't have any birthmarks and am a lot less wrinkly than my brother was.
My big brother adores me. He gives me kisses constantly and says, "baby" every time he sees me. When I cry he hurries over to me to see what is the matter. I love him very much.

p.s. My middle name was taken from my mother’s grandmother’s middle name. Whew that is a mouth full. My great grandma Baffunno. Rogan got her red hair, so I get her middle name.
